This Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich is seasoned to perfection! I created the right amount of seasoning to coat the fish with before cooking. It’s seriously way better than any Blackened Mahi I’ve had in a restaurant!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Mahi Mahi fillets 6oz each
  • 3 Tbs Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tbs ground Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp ground Cayenne
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried Oregano
  • 2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 4 Ciabatta rolls
  • Toppings: Mayo, Avocado, Red Cabbage, squeeze of Lime Juice but feel free to use whatever toppings you like

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl mix together Paprika, Cayenne, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano, Salt and Pepper
  2. Spread mixture evenly over each Mahi Mahi fillet coating all sides
  3. Add Coconut Oil to a large cast iron skillet, heat on med/high heat
  4. When oil is melted and shimmering add Mahi Mahi fillets
  5. Cook 4 minutes each side or until cooked all the way through (cook time can vary by the thickness of each fillet)
  6. Place each Mahi fillet on a Ciabatta
  7. Top with Mayo, Avocado, Red Cabbage and a squeeze of Lime Juice
  8. Enjoy!
