Grilling season is in full swing! I’ve decided to put together a step by step today on how to grill the perfect Ribeye! This Grilled Ribeye Steak is so tender, juicy and savory it will leave you wanting more!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Ribeye Steaks about 1 1/2 inch thick
  • Ground Sea Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Remove steaks from the refrigerator
  2. Sprinkle Sea Salt and Pepper generously over both sides of the steaks
  3. Let the steaks sit at room temperature at least 30 minutes before cooking but no more than an hour
  4. Clean grill grates with a quality grill brush before cooking
  5. Preheat grill to 450 degrees
  6. Place Ribeye over direct heat and cook 4-5 minutes each side for medium rare
  7. Remove from grill, place on a platter and cover with aluminum foil
  8. Let the Ribeye rest for 10 minutes
  9. Now dig in for some serious deliciousness!

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to determine if you’ve cooked steaks the way you like them.

  • 120 – 130 degrees F = Rare
  • 130 – 140 degrees F = Medium Rare
  • 140 – 150 degrees F = Medium
  • 160 – 170 degrees F = Well Done

Keep in mind that the Steak needs to rest for 10 minutes, so it’s best to pull it off the grill a few degrees before you reach your desired temperature.
