Slow Cooker Mulled Cider, ahhhh yes this is such a classic warmer-upper drink on those cool fall days. You can even add a little Rum to this if that floats your boat. I won’t judge. 

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 gallon Apple Cider
  • 3 Oranges
  • 1 1/2 Tbs Whole Cloves
  • 10 Cinnamon Sticks plus more for serving if desired
  • Rum optional

Instructions

  1. In large Crockpot add Apple Cider.
  2. Take 2 of the Oranges and poke holes in them with a toothpick.
  3. Put the Cloves in the holes of the Orange.
  4. Slice the 3rd Orange (the one that doesn’t have cloves in it) into large slices.
  5. Add Oranges to the Apple Cider.
  6. Add Cinnamon Sticks.
  7. Heat on low for 4-8 hours.
  8. Ladle Mulled Cider into each mug, serve with Cinnamon Sticks or add an ounce of Rum if desired.
  9. Makes about 16 cups.
