Slow Cooker Pork Chops Marsala

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Smithfield® All Natural Boneless Pork Chops
  • 1 Tbs EVOO
  • 1 Tbs freshly chopped Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper
  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • 4 cloves minced Garlic
  • 1 finely chopped Shallot
  • 8 oz sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Marsala Wine
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Rub Thyme and Pepper on both sides of Smithfield® All Natural Boneless Pork Chops
  2. Add EVOO to a large skillet and heat over med/high heat
  3. When oil is shimmering add Pork Chops to skillet and cook 2-3 minutes each side
  4. Place Pork Chops in Slow Cooker
  5. Add Butter to skillet along with the Garlic and Shallots
  6. Sauté 1-2 minutes
  7. Add in Mushrooms and sauté 2-3 minutes
  8. Add Marsala Wine and cook until reduced, about 2-3 minutes
  9. Pour the mixture from the skillet over the Pork Chops
  10. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours
  11. Stir in Heavy Cream and cook additional 10-15 minutes
  12. Serve and enjoy!
