Easy Lentil Fritters

Easy Lentil Fritters are perfect for a snack or a meal! It’s such a great way to use up those leftover cooked lentils!



For the Lentil Fritters:

  • 1 Cup Cooked Lentils
  • 1 Clove Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Gluten Free Panko
  • Coconut Oil for frying

For the Dipping Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cumin
  • A few drops of Lime Juice


  1. In a food processor blend together Lentils, Garlic, Paprika, Cumin, Salt and Pepper
  2. Remove blade and stir in the Egg and Panko
  3. Form into small balls
  4. Add enough oil to a large frying pan to cover the bottom
  5. Heat on med/high heat
  6. When oil starts to shimmer add the Lentil balls to the pan
  7. Gently press them down to make them flatter, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick
  8. Cook 5 minutes each side or until desired crispiness
  9. Mix together all of the ingredients for the Dipping Sauce and serve
  10. Enjoy!
