Fettuccine Alfredo with Ham and Peas

Looking to use up some leftover Ham? Try this Fettuccine Alfredo with Ham and Peas! This comes together in about 15 minutes and is oh so savory! Perfect for those busy nights!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz Fettuccini I used gluten free
  • 1/2 stick of Butter 1/4 cup
  • 1 Clove minced Garlic
  • 1 cup cooked cubed Ham
  • 1 cup frozen Peas
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 3/4 cup Grated Parmesan
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt for the pasta water

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta as directed on package
  • Reserve some of the pasta water to use if you need more sauce
  • In a large frying pan add butter and heat over medium heat
  • When butter starts to bubble add garlic and sauté 1 minute
  • Add in Ham, Peas, Pepper and Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Stirring often as it starts to bubble and thicken (about 5 minutes), if too bubbly turn heat down
  • Add in Parmesan and stir until sauce is thickened
  • Add noodles and cook 1-2 minutes
  • Enjoy!

Notes

If you want more sauce after adding in the noodles, pour in a little bit at a time of the pasta water.
