Black and Blue Burgers


Units Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Grass Fed Beef
  • 23 oz Blue Cheese crumbles
  • 12 Tbs Blackened Seasoning (link is to my homemade version)
  • Buns and toppings of choice


  1. Preheat grill to around 400F
  2. Divide hamburger into 3 balls
  3. Push in the center of each without going through the other side, creating a pocket for the Blue Cheese
  4. Place Blue Cheese in the pocket and seal up
  5. Flatten each one making a Pattie
  6. Sprinkle both side with Blackened Seasoning and gently rub in
  7. Grill 5 minutes each side or until desired doneness
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings on a bun
  9. Enjoy!
