Gluten Free Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 15oz can Black Beans, drained and rinsed
  • 23 Tbs finely chopped Shallots
  • 1 cup gluten free Panko
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 clove minced Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 23 Tbs Avocado Oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium size bowl add Black Beans and smash with a fork until semi-mushy (you can leave a few beans whole for texture).
  2. Add Shallots.
  3. Add Panko.
  4. Add Egg.
  5. Add Garlic.
  6. Add Chipotle Chili Powder, Cumin, Paprika, Salt, and Pepper.
  7. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  8. In a 9 inch skillet add Avocado Oil and heat over med-high heat.
  9. Add patties to the hot pan.
  10. Cook 7 minutes on each side.
  11. Add burgers to your favorite gluten free bun and toppings of your choice.
  12. Enjoy!
