These Gluten Free Black Bean Burgers are so easy to make. They come together in less than 25 minutes and are so delicious! Even meat-eaters will love these burgers!

I’ve been scouring the internet for a good veggie burger recipe, but almost all of them involve some sort of bread crumbs which doesn’t work for me since I’m gluten free.
So I decided to make my own little concoction using a similar style that I use to make my

Shallots
Gluten Free Panko
Egg
Garlic
Chipotle Chili Powder
Cumin
Smoked Paprika
Sea Salt
Pepper
Mix away and form into patties!

Now it’s important to note that whatever size you make the patties will be the same size after they’re cooked. They don’t shrink when cooked like regular burgers.
So make em to fit the buns!

Gluten Free Black Bean Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can Black Beans drained and rinsed
- 2-3 Tbs finely chopped Shallots
- 1 cup gluten free Panko
- 1 Egg
- 1 clove minced Garlic
- 1/4 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 2-3 Tbs Avocado Oil
Instructions
- In a medium size bowl add Black Beans and smash with a fork until semi-mushy (you can leave a few beans whole for texture).
- Add Shallots.
- Add Panko.
- Add Egg.
- Add Garlic.
- Add Chipotle Chili Powder, Cumin, Paprika, Salt, and Pepper.
- Mix well and form into 4 patties.
- In a 9 inch skillet add Avocado Oil and heat over med-high heat.
- Add patties to the hot pan.
- Cook 7 minutes on each side.
- Add burgers to your favorite gluten free bun and toppings of your choice.
- Enjoy!
