These Skillet Pork Chops with Apples and Onions are ready in about 30 minutes! Everything cooks in one skillet which makes for easy cleanup as well!

- 2 Bone in Pork Chops about 1 1/2 inches thick
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
- Oil for frying pan with a high smoke point, I used Corn Oil
- 1/2 Red Onion sliced
- 2 Fugi or Honey Crisp Apples sliced thick
- 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 1/4 Cup Red Cooking Wine
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Broth
- 1 tsp Dijon
- Sprinkle a bit of Sea Salt and Pepper over both sides of the Pork Chops
- Add enough Oil to a 12 inch cast iron skillet to cover the bottom
- Heat skillet over med/high heat
- When oil is hot add the Pork Chops and cook 4 minutes each side or until it has a nice sear
- Remove Chops and set aside
- Add Onions, Apples and Garlic to the skillet
- Cook 6-8 minutes
- Add Red Wine to deglaze about 1-2 minutes
- Stir in Broth and Mustard
- Add Chops, cover and cook 4-8 minutes or until the internal temp is 145F
- Remove from heat and let it rest 5 minutes before serving
