These Grapefruit Mimosas are a favorite of mine when I want to make a little weekend brunch at home. They are so refreshing and go with just about any kind of brunch food you could think of!
I prefer to make brunch at home most of the time because it saves me a ton of money! Those mimosas can really add up!
BTW I had a really fun time making this GIF above! Actually it was my very first GIF I ever created! What do you think?! Let me know in the comments below if you’d like to see more of these. 🙂
I prefer Grapefruit juice over Orange juice when it comes to Mimosas. Mainly because sometimes Orange juice gives me heartburn. But hey if you prefer Orange juice instead you could swap it out and make it your own!
I like to use freshly squeezed Grapefruit juice as well. I feel like the juice you buy in the store has extra additives and sugar that you just don’t need.
Plus fresh squeezed juice always tastes so much better!
Now you could do either Champagne or Prosecco depending on your preference.
I prefer Prosecco so that’s what I went with today.
Some of my favorite Prosecco brands are La Marca (pictured), Gemme Di Luna and Ruffino. These are all D.O.C. and under $20 a bottle.
Now get out there and enjoy some quality brunch time my friends!
