Up your Brunch Game with this Smoked Salmon Brunch Board! This is super easy to put together at the last minute and can feed a crowd!
Let’s hear it for the Brunch lovers! I’m all about the Brunch.
It’s the one meal I look forward to all week. Some weekends we Brunch out, but most of the time we Brunch in to save some money.
I try and do a different Brunch idea every week to mix things up, which is where this Smoked Salmon Brunch Board comes into play!
Charcuterie boards are so popular right now. They are a great way to entertain because they make the center piece to the table, and can feed a crowd!
Here’s some tips on how to set up a basic Smoked Salmon Brunch Board:
First, think about how many guests you’ll be serving to estimate how much of each ingredient to put on the board. It’s always better to have more than enough, so if you’re not sure always get extra. You can always store the extra ingredients in the fridge for later.
All of the ingredients I chose for this Brunch Board compliments the Smoked Salmon, but feel free to add your own favorites as well. Some other ideas would be Radishes, Eggs, or some Pickled Veggies.
Give yourself 15 minutes to prep the board before your guests arrive. You can prepare ahead of time and keep it in the fridge.
The Smoked Salmon should be the focal point on your board, so place it in the center.
Place a bowl of Cream Cheese on one end of the Board so it’s next to the Salmon and a bowl of Capers on the other end to balance out the look of the Board.
Then place your ingredients around the Salmon. I try to place anything that’s similar in color on opposite sides of each other, an example would be the Dill and Cucumbers.
You could choose to have an assortment of Bagels laid out next to the Board. I prefer the Canyon Bakehouse Gluten Free Everything Bagels (affiliate link). These are seriously the best gluten free bagels I’ve ever had. My boyfriend who’s not gluten free even prefers these over the non gluten free Everything Bagels from a different brand.
Have the Bagels next to the Board along with a toaster. That way your guests can choose if they want their Bagels toasted or not.
Then proceed to chow down on all of the deliciousness!
Happy Brunching!
