Banana Chocolate Chip Mint “Ice Cream” made with 4 simple ingredients, and no ice cream maker required! This is a healthier and super tasty dessert you will love!
You may remember awhile back I posted a recipe for Healthy Coconut Strawberry Banana Ice Cream. Well you guys loved it so much, that I had several requests to make another ‘Ice Cream’ recipe.
So here it is!
One of my favorite ice creams growing up was Chocolate Chip Mint. Mmmm.
I mean it’s like the perfect combo!
I decided to make this with frozen bananas, fresh mint leaves, spinach (to give it more of a greener color, plus sneaking in greens to a treat never hurt anyone;), and chocolate chips.
I just added everything to a food processor to blend, so easy!
Now it was a tad soft after blending, so I froze this for 1-2 hours before eating.

Banana Chocolate Chip Mint “Ice Cream”
- Prep Time: 5 mins
- Total Time: 5 mins
- Yield: 4-6 1x
- Category: Dessert
- Cuisine: Gluten Free, Vegetarian
- 4 Bananas
- 15–20 fresh Mint Leaves
- Handful of Spinach
- 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- Chop Bananas into 1 inch pieces, freeze for 1 hour
- In a food processor add in frozen Bananas, Mint, and Spinach
- Blend until smooth
- Pour into a freezer safe container and mix in Chocolate Chips
- Freeze 1-2 hours
