This Fig and Almond Butter Smoothie is so rich and creamy, it’s been my new go-to healthy smoothie for breakfast these days. Made with only 4 simple ingredients, plus it’s dairy free!
I’m moving in exactly 5 days. Whoa! Where did the time go?!
I haven’t been to the grocery store in a long time because I’ve been trying to use up everything in my fridge and cupboards before the big move.
It’s looking pretty scarce. I am now down to just condiments, Almond Milk, and some frozen Bananas that I use for smoothies.
This my friends, is driving me crazy. Having an empty fridge/freezer is totally giving me anxiety.
A food blogger without food is like… peanut butter without jelly, or tuna fish without mayo… well you get the picture.
It’s a weird empty feeling.
So having an almost empty fridge was todays inspiration for my latest smoothie concoction! 🙂
This only requires 4 staple ingredients that you may already have on hand.
Almond Milk
Figs
Almond Butter
Frozen Bananas
That’s it! So simple!
Just add everything to a blender and whirl it up!
This smoothie is rich, creamy, almond buttery, and has a bit of sweetness from the figs. Mmmm, so delicious!
If you try this recipe let me know what you think! Leave a comment, rate it, share it on social media, or take a picture and tag it #tastefulventure on Instagram! I LOVE seeing what you guys make. 🙂
Alright, I’ve got to get back to packing boxes. Cheers my friends!
