These Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops are a simple dinner to throw together at the last minute. You can grill these outside, or inside with a grill pan for the stove top which is what I did.

Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops

If you’ve been following the blog for awhile then you may already know that I love to cook meals with a cast iron skillet.

The flavor that you get cooking with a cast iron skillet is the next best thing to grilling outside. These Pork Chops have this wonderful fragrant flavor from the Rosemary, along with a smoky flavor from the grill pan.  They stayed nice and juicy inside and every bite was succulent. Are you drooling yet?

I love grilling outside too, but sometimes that’s not always an option. Living in Florida we tend to get pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoon almost every day in the summer. It can be a little frustrating when I have everything ready to go for grilling and suddenly it’s starts down pouring rain. When that happens I whip out my grill pan and grill inside!

I used a Cast-Iron Square Grill Pan to cook these pork chops on my stove top. This was probably one of the easiest meals I’ve ever made!

The pork chops I used were about an inch thick. I rubbed some dried Rosemary over both sides of the chops.

Then I heated up my grill pan on med-high and cooked the pork chops about 3-5 minutes on each side.

Now the next step is important because you want to make sure your pork chops are cooked all the way through. I removed the grill pan from the heat and then covered it with tin foil to let it rest for about 5 more minutes. This method will keep cooking the pork chops on the inside without burning the outside of them.

You can use this same method for grilling outside as well. Just remove from the grill, place on a platter, and cover with tin foil for 5 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160 degrees.

I like to serve these pork chops with Roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes. It’s an easy side dish to whip up by throwing the potatoes and seasonings in a foil packet and then grilling or baking them. Love easy meals!

Cheers!

Can you use fresh rosemary for this recipe? My rosemary is growing WILD and I need to use it. Thank you!
