This Cranberry Vinaigrette is so easy to make and is so delicious, you will want to put this on every salad!

Cranberry Vinaigrette

I was really trying to get this recipe up before Thanksgiving, but it just didn’t happen.

I was on holiday all last week on a cruise ship with very spotty wifi. My goal was to try and finish this post while on vacation. I know you’re probably thinking, who works on vacation? I do. Yep. But the way I see it, is that if you’re doing what you love then it’s not actually work. 🙂

I guess being on a cruise ship with slow wifi was good for me though. It gave me a chance to actually put down my laptop and fully relax.

What I did do while on vacay was take a ton of pictures, so within the coming weeks I’ll be busy editing and getting my travel posts out. If you’re not familiar with this, I also give travel tips, etc. on the places I’ve visited. You can check out past ones ——> Here.

Alrighty, let’s get back to this recipe!

cranberries in a food processor
cranberries blending

I love this time of year because I can get fresh Cranberries in the store easily.

This Cranberry Vinaigrette can be made anytime, so it’s not just for Thanksgiving. I actually used it on this Leftover Turkey Quinoa Salad. But really you could use this on almost any salad.

Cranberry Vinaigrette

The easiest way to make this is with a Food Processor, or a high speed blender.

Just add in fresh Cranberries, Shallot, Sage Leaves, EVOO, Red Wine Vinegar, Lime Juice, Honey, Sea Salt, and Pepper.

Blend for 30 seconds or so, and it’s done!

You now have a nice fresh homemade healthy salad dressing!

I love making my own dressings, because:

A) It’s more cost effective.

B) It’s so much healthier and you know every ingredient that goes into it.

C) You can create unique combos like this one that you normally can’t find in the grocery store.

Cranberry Vinaigrette

Whenever I make salad dressing, I like to store them in little mason jars.

This may sound funny, but I bought ones that were made for baby food.

I have found that this size is perfect for storing my dressings in the fridge and they don’t take up a lot of room.

You can find these at Target or even online at Amazon.

Cranberry Vinaigrette

If you try this let me know what your favorite salad to use this on is! I love hearing what you all come up with!

Cheers!
