I made an easy peasy marinade for this Grilled Chicken with Lemon and Parsley. It’s made with ingredients that you probably already have on hand. So get ready to fire up the grill!
I love making my own marinades. It’s so much healthier because I know exactly what goes into it.
I mean have you ever tried reading some of the store bought marinade ingredients? I can’t even pronounce half of them!
Plus homemade marinade tastes so much better!
For the marinade I used White Cooking Wine, EVOO, Lemon Juice, Italian Parsley and Sea Salt.
Mix it all together and pour into a large ziplock bag. Add the Chicken to the bag and refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
The longer it marinates the more flavorful it will be.
Heat the grill to 450 degrees, high heat is key!
Place chicken on the grill and cook 5 minutes each side. Now grill time will always vary depending on the size of your Chicken Breast. I buy the Organic Chicken which run on the small side.
Remove and place on a platter. Cover with tinfoil and let it rest for 10 minutes. This allows the Chicken to further cook on the inside and will keep it tender and juicy.
Slice it up and serve with your favorite side dishes like Roasted Garlic Cauliflower! I love to add this to a nice big salad.
