Easy Sheet Pan Salmon and Broccoli

Let’s hear it for the Salmon lovers!

I love a good Salmon. In fact we have salmon in my house for dinner almost weekly. Maybe it’s my Norwegian heritage, but I just can’t seem to get enough of this delicious fish!

I’m always looking for new ways to flavor Salmon, because I normally don’t like eating the same thing over and over again.

Why You’ll Love this Salmon and Broccoli Recipe

  • It’s a flavor explosion in your mouth with the mixture of Lemon and Garlic over everything.
  • The Salmon stays so tender and flaky.
  • The Broccoli gets roasted perfectly with a bit of crispiness.
  • You only need one pan to cook this dinner on.
  • Clean up is a breeze!

Sheet Pan Salmon and Broccoli Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch Broccoli stems removed and cut into florets
  • 4 Tbs EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 2 heaping Tbs freshly minced Garlic (about 6 cloves)
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 Lemons sliced
  • non-stick cooking spray

How to Make Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Salmon with Broccoli

I lined my sheet pan with aluminum foil first to make clean up even that much easier. No sticky messy pans to scrub after dinner, woohoo!

Now just add the Salmon fillets to the middle of the sheet pan and spread the Broccoli florets all around the sides of it.

In a small bowl mix together EVOO and Minced Garlic. Brush the mixture evenly over the Salmon and Broccoli.

Sprinkle Sea Salt over everything.

Then place the Lemon slices over the Salmon and add the rest to the bottom of the sheet pan.

Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes and dinner is done!

Can I use frozen broccoli in this recipe?

You could use frozen broccoli, but I don’t recommend it. Fresh broccoli works best for this recipe.

How do I know when the baked salmon is done?

Baking time will always depend on the size and thickness of your salmon. It will flake easily with a fork when it’s done.

How do I prevent salmon from drying out in the oven?

Keep the skin on, and don’t over cook it.

What other vegetables go with baked salmon?

You could also use cauliflower, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, or bell peppers for this recipe instead of broccoli.

What to serve with Salmon and Broccoli

You could serve it is, or serve it with rice, cauliflower rice, pasta, or a nice salad.

Only 4 stars because my husband always grills the salmon but couldn’t tonight because he just got a cast put on. We like the flavor of the salmon better on the grill but if that isn’t availabe, this is a close second. I found this recipe and it was delicious, garlic, broccoli and all. Didn’t feel we had too much garlic since it was roasted. Easy, will definitely make again.

      Hi Anne,

I’m working on getting nutritional facts in my recipes. As of right now I don’t have that information.

The best recipe ever,! Except for adding 5 minutes to the cooking time I followed the recipe exactly and loved every bit of it. I never imagined baking broccoli, but we loved the crispness and it will be my forever way of preparing broccoli. The salmon was flakey and infused with lemon and garlic.
Thank you for sharing this quick and tasty recipe.

Just an observation here: 2 Tablespoons of garlic seems like a LOT, and we love garlic! Think I’ll amend the EVOO and garlic amounts, but proceed accordingly with your great-looking recipe!

I modified downward on the garlic (just a tad) and it was just perfect. Broccoli was the best ever.
