This Homemade Greek Salad Dressing is made with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand and tastes way better than any store bought dressing!
I love making my own salad dressings, that way I know exactly what is going into it. I mean, have you ever read some of the ingredients on store bought dressings?
Some ingredients are totally foreign to me. I have a rule, if I can’t pronounce or know what an ingredient is I don’t eat it!
Plus when I make my own I can make only the amount I need so nothing goes to waste. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to throw out half full bottles of dressing, ugh!
Here’s all you need to make this:
- 1/2 cup EVOO
- 2 Tbs Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbs Dried Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 Clove Minced Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Dijon
I recommend using a really good Olive Oil and Balsamic for the best taste. Traditional recipes call for red wine vinegar but I couldn’t find any. I found Balsamic Vinegar works just as good!
This Greek Salad Dressing will keep for up to 2 weeks in the fridge in an air tight container. I use this all the time when I make my Greek Salad with Chicken!
