This Skinny Chocolate Banana Smoothie is perfect for an easy morning breakfast. It only takes 3 ingredients plus a blender to whip this smoothie up in seconds. Plus it tastes like a dessert, but without all of the calories!

Skinny Chocolate Banana Smoothie

So I started running again…and now I remember why I dislike running. Ok, ok, I’ll get used to it again – I think. My best friend from high school is getting married in a few months and I’m her Maid of Honor which is super cool, I cannot wait! But let’s just say my body is not quite ready to fit into my bridesmaid dress yet, yikes! The countdown is on and I’m determined to fit in this dress by the wedding day.

I love having a food blog, but it also means I eat – A lot! So I really need to start balancing my food intake and exercise a little more, otherwise I’m going to bust out of that dress like porky pig!

I’ve been on a kick of making healthy smoothies everyday for breakfast after my run. It really gives me an energy boost for the day, and I love the way I feel after. Plus it’s Gluten Free, yay!

Skinny Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Here’s what I love about this smoothie:

  • It only has 3 ingredients, YES! Can’t get any easier than that, right?!
  • It’s super chocolatey and tastes like a dessert, but without all the calories.
  • You’ll think you’re at your favorite malt shop when you’re drinking this.
  • It only has 200 calories per serving!
  • I t fills you up and gives you energy all morning long.
  • You can use fun colored straws to make it fun for the kids too!
  • Using Raw Cacao Powder for the chocolatey taste is so healthy for you. Raw Cacao Powder is a Super Food, with many health benefits like being an antioxidant which lowers free radicals. It’s also rich in iron, calcium, and magnesium.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • 2 frozen Bananas
  • 1 heaping Tbs Raw Cacao Powder

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  • Enjoy!
