This Almond Butter and Tahini Snack Dip has been my go-to snack dip lately. It’s so healthy, full of protein, and perfect for dipping fruit into!
I’ve been on a total health kick lately.
My best friend from high school is coming in to visit me tomorrow for a whole week! Eeeks I’m so excited!
We’re planning on doing all of the fun touristy things here in Florida including the beach, so I need to get ready to put on a swim suit ASAP! 😀
I’ve slowly been cutting out all of the junk eating the last month or so. Well I’m not a terrible junk food eater. I tend to eat pretty healthy, but I do have a weakness for anything salty and crispy like chips, pretzels, etc.
So I go rid of all my salty snacks and to control my crispy, crunchy, cravings in the afternoon I’ve been snacking on Apples dipped into this little concoction I made with Almond Butter and Tahini.
I always have Almond Butter and Tahini in my fridge.
I use the Almond Butter to add to smoothies usually, and the Tahini I use to make Hummus with. So I thought it would be fun to try and mix the two together, I love experimenting with food!
This dip seriously tastes so delicious! Sort of like Peanut Butter, but different… better actually. These are both a good source of protein and leave me feeling full until dinner time.
Currently my favorite brands to use for this are
Justin’s Classic Almond Butter
and
I found both of these at my local health foods store.
