It’s Fridayyyyy! Whew we made it through the busy week!
Friday night dinners for us usually include some sort of pizza. We’ve started making our own pizzas at home to save a little money. It’s been a lot of fun!
Plus we get to experiment and create all different types of pizzas, like this Margherita Pizza.
I used to buy frozen Gluten Free Pizzas, but those can be pretty expensive, and aren’t always the greatest tasting.
The other day when I was grocery shopping I came across these Udi’s Gluten Free frozen Pizza Crusts. So I decided to pick some up. There’s 2 in a pack which is perfect for me and my son. I can make one for me and one for him.
I usually make a Pineapple and Canadian Bacon one for Gavin, that’s his fav. But for me, I prefer the Margherita Pizza.
So basically start with the Pizza Crust frozen, don’t thaw it out first.
It also helps to spray a little non-stick cooking spray on the Pizza pan as well, I found sometimes the crust sticks to the pan.
Place the Pizza Crust on the pan.
Top with your favorite pizza sauce, I actually had some of my homemade Marinara Sauce left over that I used for this, yummy!
Top with fresh Basil Leaves, I just love the way fresh Basil smells… ahh it’s the little things. 🙂
Add some Roma Tomatoes.
Then top with Mozzarella.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7 – 10 minutes depending on how crispy you like your crust. I usually go the full 10 minutes, I like mine crispy.
Slice it up and serve it up!
Each pizza is about 2 servings, or one really large serving if you’re super hungry… I don’t judge. 🙂
If you try this recipe let me know what you think! Leave a comment, rate it, share it on social media, or take a picture and tag it #tastefulventure on Instagram! I LOVE seeing what you guys cook up. 🙂
