This Garlic and Thyme Baked Brie is like an instant fondue, perfect for dipping into with a crusty baguette! This can be ready in about 25 minutes and is always a crowd favorite!

Garlic and Thyme Baked Brie

This is one of my favorite go-to appetizers. It’s easy to throw together at the last minute and is super flavorful! My favorite thing to dip into this is a crusty baguette, but you could use veggies, crackers or anything else you desire!

This also reheats well in case you have leftovers. I made this for just me and my boyfriend for a date night in, we couldn’t finish it all so we saved it for the next day.

I just popped it in the oven again, heated it until it was nice and bubbly, and it tasted just as delicious as the day before!

Baked Brie with Garlic and Thyme

Here’s what you need to make this:

  • 1 8oz Wheel of Brie Cheese
  • 1 Tbs EVOO
  • 3 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 2 tsp Fresh Thyme chopped
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • Dash of Black Pepper
Baked Brie in a dish

Start by preheating the oven to 350 F. Score the Brie in a criss-cross pattern across the top. Place Brie in an oven safe dish.

In a small bowl whisk together EVOO, Garlic and Thyme. Spoon mixture over the top of Brie. Sprinkle with Sea Salt and Pepper.

Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Serve with veggies, chips, crostini or anything else you desire!

Dipping a baguette into melted brie

Now I like this very garlicky which is why I used 3 cloves. If you don’t like a strong garlic taste you can use less, totally your preference!

I’ve had a lot of people ask me if it’s ok to eat the rind. Yes! The rind on Brie is totally edible!
