This Smoked Salmon Dip is super easy to make! It’s so creamy, savory, and has the perfect amount of smoky flavor. It is sure to be a hit at your next party!
I love Smoked Salmon. Maybe it’s my Norwegian heritage. I could seriously eat Smoked Salmon every single day!
When I eat out at a seafood restaurant and I see Smoked Salmon Dip on the menu, I order it every single time for an appetizer.
I’ve had many different varieties of Smoked Salmon Dip over the years at various restaurants and finally decided to make it myself.
A lot of recipes call for Sour Cream, but honestly I’m not a big Sour Cream fan so I used Mayo mixed with the Cream Cheese. But if you’d rather have Sour Cream then feel free to sub it out for the Mayo.
Then I mixed in some finely chopped Smoked Salmon along with Lemon Juice, fresh Dill, Capers, Smoked Paprika, Salt, Pepper, and Old Bay Seasoning.
I really like a more smoky flavor to my Salmon Dip so I used quite a bit of Smoked Paprika along with the Old Bay to really kick it up a notch.
If you’re not sure how smoky you like it, then I would suggest starting off with a smaller amount of seasoning. Mix well, taste, and add more to your liking.
This Smoked Salmon Dip is great with veggies, crostini, or crackers. I really dig these gluten free Vans Lots of Everything Crackers (affiliate).
