Here is a step by step on How To Make 5 Minute Garlic Aioli. This Garlic Aioli sauce takes only 5 minutes to make and is 100% better than any store bought sauce.

This sauce is perfect for any type of seafood, burgers, fries, or whatever else you can think of to dip in here!
I just recently made this sauce to put on a super yummy salmon burger. (Spoiler alert, look for that recipe coming soon!)
After I learned how easy it was to make my sauces and dressings at home, and realizing they taste way better than the ones I would buy in the store, I no longer buy any store bought sauces or dressings. Plus I no longer have tons of half used sauces sitting in the fridge getting all funkified.
There are just 3 main ingredients to this sauce, Mayo, Lemon Juice, and Garlic. That’s it! Seriously, you can’t get much easier than that!
I hope you love this Garlic Aioli as much as we do! It’s:
- Easy to make
- Flavorful
- Made with simple ingredients
- and Oh So Savory!

So glad you enjoyed it Arlene!

Not a fan. Didn’t taste like the aioli To me, really. More of a mayo-based salad dressing- like a creamy italian dressing. Might be good on salads!

I could’t believe how good this was on my salmon burger the other night!! I added some dill too! Thank you for the recipe!!

Awesome Dahlia, so great to hear!

The definition of aioli is literally mayonnaise seasoned with garlic. Nice job being a jerk. I’ve also made this and it’s delicious.
Jenni says
Leah – You would be incorrect. As an Italian I am offended that you would think aioli would be mayonnaise. To even be considered part of the aioli family, it must contain olive oil. Real aioli does not have eggs, mayo’s main ingredient is eggs. So no, it is not “literally mayonnaise”. How can this recipe be better than store bought when using store bought mayo.

Nice! Exactly what I thought when I read Nuria’s comment. This looks simple and delicious! I’m making it right now in the kitchen to go with artichoke!
Nuria says
Really? You should call this garlic mayo or mayo with garlic, but it is confusing and misleading calling it aioli. First the correct word is allioli and the name says it all: in catalan all is garlic and oli is oil, olive oil in this case and that is all you need for the sauce, garlic and oil. No gluten no dairy. Ta daaaa!

Rude!
Maybe where you come from, this isn’t Aoli.
This recipe is wonderful no matter the name.
