These Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Thighs are super simple to make and taste oh so savory! The inside of the chicken stays tender and moist, while the skin gets nice and crispy!

Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Thighs

Does anyone else here try to win give-aways on Instagram? I don’t do a lot of them if there are certain stipulations, like ‘follow everyone they follow’. Ummm yeah, I’m not going to follow like a thousand people. And how do they really check to see if you are following all of them? It’s a mystery to me.

Anyway what I’m trying to say is, I only enter the ones I feel are authentic. A few months ago one of my blogger friends had an Instant Pot Air Fryer give-away, so I immediately signed up since I have always wanted an air fryer!

I was super stoked when she messaged me to tell me I won an Instant Pot Air Fryer! (affiliate link) I mean I hardly ever win anything!

The very first thing I made were these Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Thighs, so I just had to share this super easy recipe with you guys!

First of all, I love buffalo wings, but have yet to find the perfect flavor at wing joints. My bf is a fan of the Hooters buffalo sauce, but me not so much.

After trying several different sauces, Frank’s RedHot is definitely my fav! But hey, you do you and use whatever your favorite go-to buffalo sauce is! That’s the joy of cooking! 🙂

One thing I learned is that you don’t want to over crowd your air fryer. I fit two chicken thighs in the bottom rack and 2 on the top rack of my Instant Pot Air Fryer. So if you’re feeding a crowd you would just need to do these in batches.

Please note that cooking time can vary depending on the size of your chicken thighs. Always cook chicken until the internal temperature is 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Man oh man, I was so impressed by the way everything cooked so evenly. The skin on the thighs gets nice and crispy while the chicken stays super moist!

I cannot wait to make these again!

Quick question: I’m presuming you’re starting worth frozen thighs — 400 for 25 minutes from room temperature would be chicken thigh jerky in my air fryer. Any idea. for room temp thighs? (Yes, I know until 160° it temp) but wondering

I used thawed chicken thighs for this. Cooking time will depend on the size of the thighs, mine were on the larger side.
