Now I don’t follow a keto diet or anything. However I do try and limit my carb intake, because I find it makes me feel lighter and less bloated. It’s all about balance right?!

I love love love Crab Cakes, but since I went gluten free I could no longer order these at restaurants which was a really big bummer.

So I decided to make them at home whenever I get that seafood craving!

I lightened them up by making them in my air fryer (affiliate link) instead of frying them in oil too. They still achieved a nice crispy outside in the air fryer!

Ingredients for Air Fryer Keto Crab Cakes

  • 2 6oz Cans Lump Crab Meat drained
  • 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Shallot finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbs Mayo
  • 2 tsp Dijon
  • 2 Tbs Melted Butter
  • Lemon Wedges for serving

How to Make Air Fryer Crab Cakes

To make these add Crab Meat, Almond Flour, Shallots, Parsley, Old Bay, Salt, Pepper, Egg, Mayo and Dijon to a medium size bowl.

Form into patties and place them in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This will help them to stay firm and not crumble when air frying.

Brush melted Butter over patties and place in your air fryer basket at 400F for 10-15 minutes, flipping half way through.

Crab Cake Dipping Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Mayo
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

How to Make Dipping Sauce for Crab Cakes

For the dipping sauce I mixed together the Mayo, Lemon Juice, Old Bay Seasoning, Salt and Pepper.

That’s it, easy peasy!

Omg let me tell you, this sauce so freaking delicious with these Crab Cakes! It will definitely leave you wanting more!

What to Serve with Crab Cakes

These can be a meal in itself, but if you’re looking for something to pair it with, try a healthy salad, grilled veggies, or some roasted potatoes.
